The poster features an official portrait of Anton Mussert, leader of the National Socialist Movement (NSB), in uniform and presented frontally. His posture is stately and composed, with folded hands, intended to convey reliability, determination, and leadership. The NSB emblem is visible on the sleeve.

Above the portrait, in large letters, is the appeal: "As good Dutchmen, support Mussert in his arduous struggle," followed by the emphatic "right NOW," directly appealing to the viewer's sense of duty and loyalty. Below is a quote from Mussert:

“I am Dutch through and through, and anyone who wants to destroy this country will find in me their greatest enemy.”

The green background and understated typography reinforce the poster's official, almost constitutional character. The poster is clearly intended as political propaganda, aimed at garnering support for Mussert and the NSB during the German occupation, and fits perfectly within the controlled and censored visual language of 1942.

Condition:

The poster has been folded. The back of the poster has been carefully repaired with three small pieces of tape. These repairs are not visible on the front. The paper is otherwise intact, with no major tears or missing sections. The image and text remain legible, and the color tone is even. An authentic copy.
