The poster, which combines text and images, is titled "Mussert and Socialism." Black-and-white photos on the left and right depict Anton Mussert talking to workers in an informal setting. The central and left columns of text contain chronologically arranged excerpts from Mussert's speeches and writings, dating from 1931–1942, outlining his views on labor, socialism, and the state.
The background is a striking shade of red with contrasting white and black typography. At the bottom of the poster is the slogan: "Today the word – Tomorrow the action!", followed by the closing call: "With Mussert, we are building the socialist state!"
The poster was clearly designed as an ideological propaganda tool, intended to suggest continuity and development in Mussert's ideas and to garner support for the National Socialist state concept during the occupation. The design and content are fully in keeping with the centralized and censored propaganda of the period.
